Here's another Mortarheadd kit that I got a pre-release to build for Volks. In what seems to be becoming the standard, I got busy with work and wasn't able to finish it before it was officially released.. but that's ok, there wasn't really a deadline. I don't like to rush anyway, so it's all good.
The build was pretty standard, but being the newest IMS plastic kit from Volks, it went together a lot easier than the older ones. There weren't that many seams to fill compared to usual, which was a pleasure, but there was a lot more masking involved in the painting process. Mostly on the veil (shield) and shoulder emblems.
As usual, colors are all taken from the manual, and a combination of Mr Color and Gaianotes paints were used, with a gloss coat of Gaia EX-03 Clear GLoss, with some detail bits painted with Testors enamel and Vallejo acrylic.
